Skeeter meets Shark!

Well, Skeeter, the adventurer just got back from Puerto Escondido and points south and brought us a frightening story. Actually he just about gave his mom a heart attack just hearing about it. We have been emailing amongst the family while he was away talking about the back to back shark attacks in Ixtapa and the one in Solana Beach, but none of us were too worried about it. What are the chances? Apparently the odds are that if you are surfing in Mexico you will find a shark or shall I say a shark will find you. Here is Skeeter's story: OK OK OK.... I will tell you the story in person, but if you must know, My
life/death was resting in the simple brain of a HUGE (12 - 15 foot) tiger
shark. I didn't see it until it was 5 feet from me and it was aiming
straight at me. Ben and Justin were screaming at me before I saw it. He
decided that I was not food and left me alone. This was the biggest shark I
have ever seen.
Here is a little photo to show you what he saw 5 ft. away and swimming toward him

OH SCARY! I am so glad that the shark decided he wasn't food and left him alone! Please, no one tell this story to my kids or else they will never surf again!

yikes! all this talk of sharks makes a leeetle bit happy to be in Colorado... but on second thought, I'd still rather be at the beach. :)

whew.... that was a close one! I don't know anything about tiger sharks but thanks to our Lord that this one had better things to do that day - God is so good to watch over Skeeter. Love you! Just checking in
